Description
For Caisse d'Épargne's new national campaign by Altmann + Pacreau, we participated in creating a universe where everyday life subtly shifts into the spectacular. Through a little girl's perspective imagining her mother behind offshore wind farms, a basketball court, or a hospital center, the commercial blends popular comedy and ambitious staging.
Alongside two VFX artists and three 3D artists, I helped transform filmed scenes deeply rooted in reality into digitally enriched environments. Sets were extended, recreated, or entirely generated in 3D, then precisely integrated so each intervention remained invisible to viewers. The goal wasn't showing the effect but making it forgotten.
Offshore wind turbines emerging on the horizon, basketball court built before our eyes, hospital and industrial infrastructure coming to life behind car windows: each shot required perfect fusion between live shooting and digital creation.

Challenges & Solutions
Real & 3D Fusion
Filmed environments needed to accommodate complex 3D structures (wind turbines, buildings, factories) without ever betraying the illusion. Camera movements, lighting variations, and reflections made integration particularly demanding.
Through 3D tracking and matchmoving, we recreated camera movements in virtual space before integrating elements modeled by the 3D team. Compositing then allowed adjusting shadows, atmospheric depth, and light interactions to anchor each creation in reality.
Compositing & Set Extensions
Numerous shots involved green screens or environments to transform entirely, notably through car windows.
I worked on compositing, rotoscoping, and clean-up to naturally integrate new sets. Matte paintings and set extensions were prepared upfront for previsualization, ensuring visual cohesion from earliest stages.
Previsualization & Creative Cohesion
Even before final 3D production, clear visual directions needed proposing to guide staging and validate intentions.
I participated in graphic research and previz proposals including matte painting and motion design elements, notably for the end logo. These stages aligned narration, visual spectacle, and brand promise.
Multiple Versions & Conform
The campaign required numerous variants with different timings and associated texts while maintaining impeccable technical continuity.
I ensured project conform and final render management, carefully adapting each version. Each export had to respect broadcast constraints without compromising visual quality.
